Multiple generations have run this "gastronomic gem" in the "Up North" town of Standish, Michigan. Comfort food will include the fresh "catch of the day" from local fisheries. Delight is a freshly baked donut with coffee in the morning, though you really can't go wrong with any of the menu items.., they've had many decades to perfect them.
Service was great as was the food. My family and I decided to stop in for breakfast and the omelets were delicious. We had the roast beef omelet, the veggie omelet and the berry pancakes. The pancake was also great! They had the pancake shaped like micky mouse for our little one. You get a lot for a very reasonable price.
Really enjoy the food and the staff. Been coming here for years and it keeps getting better!
Always love going here. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. It's about an hour drive for me but it is well worth the trip. When you are there be sure to stop at Northwoods too. Wheelers and Northwoods are the only reasons I drive so far. Highly recommend trying wheelers the hot turkey sandwich is delicious.
Passing through town to go camping and my husband and I were hungry. Found this place and it was awesome! The salad bar was great and so were both of our meals. Cannot wait to go camping more because I think this is now our go to spot for lunch!! Service was also great. Thank you!
